The only actual way to know if a bike is good or not would be if stock bike racing was a proper scene, only BSB is close to stock (still not full stock), but obviously the 300cc or whatever bikes are NGMI vs an R1. You also have the problem of trying to balance things like engine size, but also what suspension comes stock, stock 600 with good suspension will rape stock 1000 with shit suspension on track, although that simple upgrade might turn the 1000 into a monster that rapes the 600. BSB allows suspension upgrade for that reason, plus they need it..

Otherwise all you go on is hearsay and specs, ignore anyone who tries to post about WSBK or WSSP times, those are heavily modified and only idiots try to use it for justification for bikes.

I've tried three different brands of heated gloved but they all stop heating after a few month so I put wind guards over the grips and my hands stay warm and toasty wearing regular winter gloves.

Because the tech in WSBK is not the stock tech, its custom programmed, probably for each individual track, and you'll never have access to that. Instead you'll have a turbo poorfag version only meant to stop unskilled riders from shitting their pants, not the tech that basically does the riding for you. WSBK bikes have nothing to do with stock bikes, basically everything gets modified and customized by the companies who sponsor the racer, only BSB bothers to actually limit modifications properly so bikes are even somewhat related to stock racing.

WSBK is at the end of the day, just a poorfag's motogp, same issues with tech spam, same issues with bikes having no relation to consumers, and same issues with billion dollar companies having too much say over a race between RACERS, not fiat greedy companies having marketing/advertisement battles. I regularly ride at lower temps and my bike gives me a frost warning at 3°C. I wear a thermal base layer under my pants and knee/chin guards that deflect the cold wind. My bike's grips have these covers >>28664892 which also deflect cold wind and rain so my hands stay reasonably warm inside my insulated gloves.
Riding the cold is doable. Just be weary of having cold tyres.

I think the small LCD on the Kawasaki is acceptable, it still has the two dials which is comforting to glance down at. When you're on the bike it's one of the only things helping along the retro LARP. I don't know how the air cooling would accomplish the same, but that's just me.

10C is still comfy. Leather/polyurethane outer layer for clothing helps as it doesn't let the cold air pass through that easily. Same with boots, pick ones that don't have ventilation holes. I ride bicycle in icy winters and it's also fun, adversity has a special feel to it. Or course not comparable to cold blasts you get on highway.
