There's not a "catch". That's just China. It's an EV so the drivetrain is a nonissue. The only "catch" if there was one is that they don't have very good cooling systems so it can only do 1 lap or a handful of quarter miles before it goes into a reduced power mode.
The catch is that this is what the Chinese government spends money on. They try to flood international markets with subsidized cars to hurt existing automakers
