honestly in this situation it just fades into the background and is just second nature
>letting the car dictate to you how fast it wants to go
This is what I don't get about automatic fanatics. You gain nothing but less control in how you want your car to handle. I get it when people say they prefer autos due to the supposed ease when cruising, but I seldom ever hear any other justification irl for autos other than that. Online though I see spergs trying to somehow argue autos are not just an alternative but are somehow outright better than manuals. It makes no sense. Why give up agency on how you want to drive?

you are a retard, stop posting
every automatic can be manually shifted somehow
you manny trannies act like every single automatic transmission is a 4l60, a4od or 3 speed ultradrive jesus fuckin christ
read a book, get a clue, gain height

Which wear like a motherfucker if you try to use them like a traditional manual. I will take my 4% - 14% efficiency over a system used by people who cannot comprehend how to opperate their transmission properly or are too lazy to do it.

Sorry to destroy your dreams of an angl* manual race or w/e but 80% of new cars bought new in bongland are autotragics.
Outside of shitholes like India the manual is going the way of the dinosaur.
>complain about no Manuel in generic shitbox >manufacturer caves and produces Manuel >no one buys Manuel shitbox >manufacturer stops production and goes back to Auto >rinse and repeat

Problem is that people really wanted a manual because they wanted the return to the ultra-base model, not necessarily the manual transmission. So car companies decided to make manual cars with all the stuff that drives up prices, and dealerships made sure to price accordingly. Simple fact is that automatic have been so perfectly solved as a transmission that now going to a manual is the cost consuming one.

Sorry to burst your bubble but in the last decade the number of automatics on the UK roads have been slowly increasing. As of 2024 a third of all registered cars are automatic, and over 70% of new car sales are automatic.
>BUT MUH NEWS ARTICLE FROM NOBODY. COM!
I can tell you with full confidence, being surrounded by it every day, all of the cars here are manual. New ones in lots included. All o' this cuz OP can't find the bite lmao.

Most clutches from the shitboxes you own are already on their way out. Changing the clutch cylinder, which is a by wire system for anything at least 30 years is a new world.
