The meme of compact cars is nice and all until you realize they SUCK for anyone who is 180cm or taller. Americans had a point that bigger cars were more comfortable, especially for leg room.

I can barely sit in a Corolla, Prius, Octavia, or any of these compacts without my knees being bent up to the steering wheel and blood flow being cut off, and my head being at constant risk of hitting the b-post or the roof.

That's what all these breadtubers who live in ideological cartoon fantasies don't seem to understand, they don't consider the human health factor in their spreadsheets. Compact cars should be for compact people from rice countries and women, not for the average man. Mid-size saloons and coupes at minimum.

And if you want a compact car while having legroom, well that's another thing the Americans solved by having 2-door wagons so you can get that extra room for the passengers that ARE there.

So tell me, why do automobile enthusiasts and makers now seem to discriminate against tall drivers?

It may take a few minutes of adjusting the seats, but I'm 6'4 and the only sports car that has ever been too small for me was the Zupra

The rails only go back so far on some of these cars, I'd have to tear out the front seats on one of these Corolla's altogether. I am so ready to just buy something with an 110-inch wheelbase at minimum.

This is only true if there's someone sitting behind you. A Corolla or Prius can move the seat all the way back and down and be massive inside.

The Corolla's not a sports car though.
American, German, and Nissan cars have consistently good room for tall guys across their lineup; you should try them out

I'm 165cm so these issues don't apply to me.

Just admit you're a fat fuck.
Even tiniest japanese kei cars are designed to fit someone tall.
It's the fat faggots like yourself that have a problem with it.

Toyota cars are for short people. The Tacoma don't even have leg room.

Skill issue.
If my friend can comfortably drive an Octavia at 195cm then you could too if you weren't retarded.

You never sat in any of those cars I am 190 and have no problem in my wife's Prius and I bet the Octavia is even bigger

I'm 183cm and I've never had any issues even in Asian cars, as a driver. I will say that you're right with rear interior room, a lot of cars are complete dogshit in that regard.

It isn’t your height it’s your weight. Your body weight makes it uncomfortable because the designer couldn’t envisage someone being as obese as you are
>octavia
Both the Octavia owners I know are 6’3. Real 6’3 not internet 6’3

Fat people sit higher because they have excess adipose tissue that they are sitting on like a booster chair for a child
Hope that helps

short people could always drive them, you just need to pull the steering wheel all the way out, and put the seat all the way forward
they're just optimized for 2 meter twinks

Lol because you're a fat fuck and that's why you don't fit properly, not because you're some elite gigachad genetic freak no manufacturer could anticipate existing considering YOU ARE SHORTER THAN AN AVERAGE MAN FROM GERMANY OR THE NETHERLANDS. You think the Germans build cars 25% of their population can't physically drive? I hope your country gets nuked, the fat is in your brain too.
