Is it physically possible to replace the springs on pic related with ones that are more comfort and off-road oriented?
I do not want a lift.

kia go into scrap pile.
for cars without lift kits what ive done is parts bin on rockauto for coilsprings for other cars that have the correct id/od coil ends, rough weight capacity and just longer overall length.
I put sone out of a volvo 240 wagon and it lifted my shit maybe 3.5or 4" in the back.
it's probably also the cheapest way to do it.
I see some fucktards who will buy kits for like a miata or fierro to nigger it up but i mean lifting cars is kindof retarded, i get doing it for a laugh but putting down like 2k in parts to do it is retarded

Pick one.

It's already engineered to ride as comfy as possible. If you bought an actual SUV you could go and get some soft Fox or King shocks but you fucked up and bought a crossover. Getting rid of the stupidly oversized rims and rubber band tires would help more than a suspension setup would. Run some actual meats on there if you want a better ride. 65 section minimum.

I shouldn't have to choose. + I've read a lot of car magazines and they tend to say that the fancy models of pickups with fancy shocks like the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro and things like that actually have a quite comfy ride from the better shocks.

But you do. You're asking for advice because you don't know any better yourself. Where do you get off arguing with the people who do know what they're talking about? You're the one that bought a piece of shit crossover, now deal with it.

its not a piece of shit

It's a crossover. They're all pieces of shit. If you wanted to go off road, you should have bought something body-on-frame. This is like you wanting a steak, but going to McDonalds.

body on frame would shudder the entire time I was driving on the highway

Yes, yes, you've already established that you're a retard that doesn't know what you're talking about. You don't need to provide any more proof.

Shrinking your rims and adding sidewall to your tires will do more for comfort than the suspension will.

im already down to 17s
im not sure a much smaller tire would fit or accommodate the brakes
and im pretty sure its just the cheapo shocks ruining everything

Yep pretty easy. First sell that single-mom piece of shit to get rid of the original shocks. Then buy an actual vehicle with better suspension to replace them

And again you argue with the people giving you the answers you asked for, just because said answer is not what you want to hear.
