Me and my best buddy would flip cars as a hobby out of high school, most of the money went back into tools but we still have those and use them a lot just keeping our cars on the road. For a long time we both drove Miatas, then it was Jeeps, now we both have BMWs from the same year.

Best story was when he bought a crown vic, old highway patrol car that he planned to drive away in but the torque converter or something was fucked and he couldn't get it to go faster than 5mph in drive. He called me, ended up putting it in reverse and having me ride behind him in my clapped out corolla while he drove backwards through the middle of the city. At one point he got stuck going up a hill and I just dropped into first, gassed it, bumper to bumper to push him over. Lucky there were no cops. He did make it back home, though.
