Yeah but car dealing detailing companies just add the word ceramic to every product they have now.
I've seen professionally done ceramic jobs that look good, but those are $1,000.

I mean it makes the car pop the most but it's not worth it unless you're a show car faggot. You have products like gyeon wet coat that you literally spray on for 1 second then immediately rinse off and get weeks worth of protection. Ceramic coatings that cost 1k and need curing time seem highly overrated because you still need to actually wash your car constantly. If you're doing a wash every week or 3 then why wouldn't you just use a ceramic wash. Same with ppf absolutely pointless on a car worth less than 100k usd. Imagine paying a fifth of your cars worth for a thin sheet of plastic lmao. If it's a Porsche or Ferrari with a custom paint job then sure.

Anonymous No.28700524 [Report]
>>28700484
Yes sure however the average Joe barely washes their car or does a good job of it when they do. While I'm here and complaining another thing that gets me is getting a paint correction immediately from the factory it's show car bullshit and people have lost their minds. Enjoy your factory fresh paint for a year before you blow money on polishing it off after it was just painted.

nanobond is $35 for a bottle and has shown to be great in every single head to head comparison done over several years. Take an afternoon to apply it, then refresh every couple months with turtle wax spray shit.

ive never worked with carbon fibre but if thats a clear coat over the resin id probably say its fucked and needs taking off and doing again, maybe the resin underneath is fine. you may as well hit it with some wet dry and try polishing it up before going crazy with it though.

either live with them or try a very light cutting compound. It's the same as polishing anything. you're just removing a very very thin layer of material until you get the surface below where the scratch was.
