To be devil’s advocate, if you are part of a profession that has any degree of sociability, the way you portray yourself is important. Furthermore if you’re part of corporate America, your fellow coworkers are likely all closeted faggots with dysfunctional penises so they will angrily envy your purchase. In these cases it may be important to be careful with how you portray yourself in respect to the car, but it’s easily workable by simply… Not driving a sports car to work? Otherwise, who cares what random people think of your car?

Honestly, I find the label of “sports” so diluted these days that’s it’s easier to say what isn’t a sports car vs. what is, but if I had my pick, basically any American pony/muscle/sports car (eg, camaro, corvette, etc) is going to stand out, any classic sports car (of all DM), japanese coupes, etc. I feel that the only sports car that may go under the radar are going to be models like BMW sedans since they’re common enough not to stand out immediately. Again though this will vary depending one where you live and we still have the problem from my first sentence but yea, that would be some examples from my perspective.

There's a lot of nuance to this, and it hinges on the reason a 40+ year old buys a car. For many, their forties is a time when the previous decades of work and sacrifice comes to fruition. They finally feel comfortable enough with their financial situation to buy that classic Stingray or that truck with 40 inch tires that they always wanted. Others make the buys out of the need to show face, regardless of whether they've actually earned it or even give a shit about the vehicle. It's usually pretty obvious which is which when you encounter these people in real life

Besides, the "mid life crisis meme" is just a psyop pushed by elites on normies when they realized that normies care more about flashy luxury items instead of actual power. So if a 40 year old high tier normie finally earns enough money to get shit he wanted as a kid they shame him into feeling inadequate and ensure that other normies will still not respect him for that so that the elites remain on top of the respect ladder because they were able to get that stuff when they still were young. capische?
