Wing vs spoiler
Which one is better?

They serve different purposes.

wing for downforce, spoiler for aerodynamics

Can't compare them.
Wing is for downforce in corners. Spoiler reduces drag when you go fast.

What speed do cars actually feel unstable without a spoiler for downforce?
Below 100mph does it make a difference?

We are talking about downforce in corners, to keep rear well planted when cornering. Wing has no use at speed, in fact it reduces top speed.
Meanwhile spoiler makes difference in way how much power your car uses at speed.

Car X(without spoiler) travels at 100mph and lets say requires 200 horses to overcome drag behind it. Uses all 200 horses to reach and keep these 100 mph.
Car Y(with spoiler) travels at 100mph and lets say requires only 170 horses as spoiler already reduces drag. Now with extra 30 horses you saved, you can push it to 105 mph. This way with a spoiler your car can go faster than without.

Wing is needed only to take corners faster, for the cost of total top speed.
Spoiler makes car go faster but does not improve cornering so much.

The dark thoughts are winning and I'm thinking of giving Verus $4k for full track aero for my car

I prefer comicaly large 10in Autocross spoilers.
Some have been wind tunnel tested and made a peak of over 400lbs of downforce.
At a penalty of 44% increase in drag.

Have you tried the alternate designs,
The sping or the woiler?

110mph apparently in the case of pic related, that's why they recalled it and fitted the ducktail

Downed on the design but i would suggest a soft starting spot of 75mph

Good catch. The ‘GT’ and the wing trick me at first glance. You can’t hide the McDonald’s under a wing and a badge and trick me
