The used pick up truck market is fucking hilarious. Granted im in canada so this is our made up monopoly money, but this would still be like 20k in USD

I get that it's a toyota and it will run forever but almost 30k for a 10+ year old vehicle is insane.

i think that price is crazy too but if thats a well equiped, and in excellent condition, at that mileage, the KBB is $22000-$25500 in USD idk what that is in Canadian kopeks. the demand for tacomas in my area is crazy high.

and yet even at that mileage it'll still last longer than a new 2026 tacoma off the lot, making it a steal for less than 1/2 the price.

post covid retardation really did a number on the used car market. someone posted a craigslist ad from 2015 of a "rare" - as listed by the owner - nissan 240, 5 spd, for 2400 bucks. looked bone stock as far as the pics could reveal. same car would be priced at 30k or more now.

used Tacoma prices would make me buy a new Tacoma. or a Frontier, mostly, since the taco is a turbo 4 now

If you think that's bad look at what people want for their Duramax GMT800's. People want $30k for a rusty as fuck 20+ year old truck with 400k km's. They're at Toyota tier resale values.
