The GT is better ofc. If you can afford the coyote, hell yeah brother. But the v6 is more poorfag friendly. I exclude the 2010 because it had the bad 4.0 v6, and 2018+ have no v6 at all. The 3.7 was great in longitudinal form. It even sounds like it has the soul of a v8 somehow with an exhaust.

:) I’ve got the non coyote 2010 GT. It’s obviously slower, but I dunno, I’m not racing anyone or driving like a maniac. On the rural 2 lane roads out here it’s great. Definitely prefer the 4.6’s sound over the coyote too.
Dunno know why people shit on the V6, and tolerate the ecoboost .

i guess another benefit to the v6 is that they're driven more gently, as the bros who'd beat the shit out of a car are going to go for the GT instead.

They are though? You can still get a good nb for 5k. If you spend 10k you can find some miats in very good state. There is literally no other car in this pricerange for this category. You could get a cheap stang or whatever but it will never be as reliable as the Miat or as cheap to maintain. If you cannot even drop 10k on a fun rwd car you shouldnt even bother getting into sports cars. Because insurance, gas and maint will kill you.
