maybe this is just my car, or a consequence of drive-by-wire throttle, but I seem to recall on older cars the accelerator pedal having a more gradual response, on my newish suv the accelerator is basically all or nothing you push it a little its 40% of the total and there's no difference between halfway down and fully down - makes it really hard to drive slowly

I know what you're trying to say, but you have to acknowledge additional details about the vehicle makes retards easier to spot. I agree that, on average, any driver that gains on you and gets frustrated with your lack of urgency could be in any fucking vehicle. however, visual (rice) mods, stickers, custom paint jobs, and certain specific vehicles and the demographics they naturally draw will have a higher likelihood of being driven by an impatient cunt who's more likely to buzz you in annoyance or do something dangerous as a result of frustration (or simply by being an asshole)

then again, like you, I drive over the limit, am rarely tailgated, don't tailgate (but will absolutely undertake/pass where safe), and will bully you back if you're being a faggot on the road, and will make a lane change, not "ask" and be denied

my sister in law drives like a fucking grandma, but at least trundles along in the slow lane (and doesn't do real highways). I only see the occasional person get annoyed and fly by her, but it's usually because she's going offensively under the flow of traffic and the poor fucker stuck behind her never had a chance to get up to speed and move over. every other time people see her a mile away and change lanes in advance, which is what I would do if I saw a turtle hanging out well ahead of me

I want enough distance where they could panic brake and not hit me and if they are too close, I sense that, and try to get them to go around me. The problem is some people will not do that and just enjoy having something to follow. One guy yesterday was following me, open left lane, I get in the left, he slows down too, to like 50mph - why?
I am just barely able to get back in behind him before aggro left lane traffic reaches me. Then he decides to go slower than before and takes about 5 minutes to speed up back again to 65 ish before disappearing ahead of me. But that's rare. Usually I do the left lane reverse pass, and people fly away after they are free in the right lane to go faster.
