Wdym? Their cars are better than ever, I'd have an Emira over a Cayman or A110 any day of the week

Would you guys rather get an emira or evora?

>Their cars are better than ever
LOL
LMAO, even. The Elise/Exige are peak Lotus, and they far predate being swallowed by the chinks.

It's an Exige with a body kit and faulty electrics. Lotus customer support is dreadful, and the car is far too heavy to be a real Lotus. Mogged by A110, unironically.

Aren't they Toyota Camry engines?

In 2008-2009 you could pick up some failed banker-stooge's lotus for 30% the retail price and that was the last time the name ever mattered.

Yes, they use Toyota engines.
But everything else is British and made in a shed.

The lotus-ford era of the 60s was beautiful and made some of the best commuter and race cars in the world.

Buy MR2
Put 2GR in it
Suddenly you have a evora for cheap.

Their new cars look like absolute ass. As if they mashed together rejected Lamborghini and Ferrari designs.

Old lotus was fucking awesome, all the way up to 2020 or so when they were still making the elise, exige, and evora.
New Lotus is absolute garbage now the company oly exists to sell shitty rebadged chinkmobiles.

My Evora 400 has been great. Always fun as hell to drive. It looks beautiful. And it hasn't had any maintenance issues after years of daily driving it.

The only downside is the lack of dealers, but that only mattered when mine was still under its 36 months of warranty.

Evora, until the Emiras are actually faster than them. At this point, they are more geared towards comfort, so they are slower, heavier, and more expensive than the later series 2 Evoras.

Had a Super 7 in the late 80's, the unloved S4. Was 100% dependable despite being over 15yrs old. The way that thing drove was beyond anything i could wax poetic about.

Replaced it when the Miata 1st came out. Miata was an overweight pig and a 1/4 of the fun. I'm still Team Miata though at the moment i've got a 7 kit from the 80's.
