If Kia sold a Sportage N with the v6 from the Carnival and the limited slip diff from the Elantra N they would sell every one they make. Are you reading this, Kia?
Anonymous No.28708511 [Report] >>28708529 >>28709934
chevy sold a fwd v6 "blazer" for years and no one bought it
it needs to be rwd or it won't work or even then, why would the jeets who buy these shitty econoboxes opt for a more powerful engine, for what?

No.

>sport
OP is merely suggesting adding a V6 to a mid size crossver
That should be the fuckin standard

The N line is the sport version of Kias.

cuz the interior was trash and the price was still high regardless
>it needs to be rwd
compromises interior room

It doesnt matter what it's called, i'd buy a "sport" version of a shitty cuckover simply because it offers the bare minimum.
Anonymous No.28708532 [Report] >>28708542
>>28708529
There's no shortage of room in a cuckover anon. That argument only holds water for sub-compact econoboxes.

the rwd genesis g70 has 34 inches of rear legroom i think the kia sportage has like 40
rwd inherently reduces interior space

sorry, sigh, gv70
i meant the compact SUV, not the sedan

Do the parts fit together? If so, just do it yourself. Engine swaps are pretty common when a company doesn't want to make your special snowflake car.
You can just get an old....
Oh, I see your problem Kias don't last long enough to make an engine swap worthwhile. Why do you want a special snowflake kia when it'll be non op in just a few years?

>Do the parts fit together?
I feel like they should, given that the Kia Carnival is built on the same platform as the Sportage, and has he v6.

If you refuse to learn how to lefty loosey righty tighty, than you're going to have to pay a mechanic for their time.
Get to it. Nobody else has your taste in short lived cars being modified. Also take pics.

Not just conceptual Kia models, conceptual Kia cuckovers.
It's not even the first time he's done this:

I spend tons of time thinking about conceptual cars. I'm so surprised Kia has made no effort to update their non-electric N line

they would sell thousands
Anonymous No.28709890 [Report] >>28709902
>>28709886
True, but only because it's not economical to produce a trim level in smaller numbers. They'd sit on dealers lots forever until they were sick of looking at them, and 99.9% of those thousands would be sold at extreme discounts that cause the company to actually lose money.

wrong, people love cheap performance
as long as the ride wasn't too rough - (not too big wheels, not too harsh a ride)
and the price wasn't too stratospheric - they would be bought out - look at demand for civic type r and such
Anonymous No.28709910 [Report] >>28709915
>>28709902
The Civic Type R and Civic Si, combined, accounts for less than 5% of Civic sales. That's fine when the Civic is so high volume, but few models have such success.
Anonymous No.28709911 [Report] >>28709915

No one, I repeat, no one except you, wants a "performance" version of a shitty cuckover. You are mentally ill.
Anonymous No.28709915 [Report] >>28709922 >>28710152
>>28709910
they sell everyone they make, and they often are sold at a markup
the market has pent up demand for affordable performance in a NON EV package
competition is scarce
and people love SUVs

>>28709911
you'd be surprised - again as long as it's not too extreme it doesn't need to ride harshly
it should mainly be about the engine upgrade
Anonymous No.28709922 [Report] >>28709930
>>28709915
A shitty cuckover is still not an SUV, and your gooktrash garbage will never have the draw that AMG or ///M do to attract sales of their "performance" cuckovers.

Upgrading a cuck box to the small v6.

The people who buy this don't care. They want more screens and bigger rims.

3.5 liters is on the larger side for a v6 they tend to max out at 4 liters

a v6 can't fix that shitty interior.

>The V6 from the Carnival
In markets where they sell both engines, the diesel outsells the V6 by a ratio of 20:1.
Anonymous No.28709949 [Report] >>28710154
>>28709947
I assume in those markets diesel is a cheaper fuel.
Anonymous No.28710152 [Report]

Giving consumers what they want isn't a good idea if what they want is stupid.
Anonymous No.28710154 [Report]
>>28709949
It's about the same. It used to be more expensive but it became a bit cheaper in the last few years.
But the diesel engine uses 6.5 L/100km while the V6 uses 9.6 L/100km. Anecdotally the diesel is much closer to the claimed figure, too.
Anonymous No.28710570 [Report] >>28710579
They’d sell none of them as absolutely no one buying a Kia crossover cares about what engine is in it
Anonymous No.28710579 [Report]
>>28710570
oh yeah they do
the smoothness of a v6 and the low end torque is just what Kia needs in a smaller car
