A single oil well would provide enough oil products to last a warlord and his clan a lifetime.
Youre talking 200 gallons of gasoline a day from a "normal" type well head that was seen in Mad Max: The Road Warrior. Thats in addition to the diesel and lubricating oil.

I know KR is not a movie, but I'm happy that a real KITT is now a real possibility minus all the jumping and boosting features.
Also yeah it pains me to think that if KITT ever comes out it's going to be a SUV

I remember watching this for the first time and realising that , yep, this barely-edited, no effects car chase was going to last for 40+ minutes. Pure kino.

I heard an argument that big bore V8s and the like would be preferable in that situation because they're more tolerant of dirty and poorly refined fuel than other engines.

Only 9 were ever built.
4 actual M4S pace cars and 5 prop cars used in The Wraith- 2 were on VW beetle chassis, 3 were empty rollers- with only 1 roller known to have survived.
All 4 pace cars and the 1 surviving prop car are in private hands now.
All used identical body panels
