I think having some of those nannies in planes makes sense, considering how pilots have proven time and time again how unfit humans are to process three-dimensional movement and rotation.
Fuck, some seem to struggle with just two dimensions.

>mfw learned in sims how to fly before i could drive
guess i always thought in 4d/5d+
driving feels easy
only thing thats relatively interesting is riding/flying a bike midair

Some people really just suck at that. The kind of people who can make four 90 degree turns in the same direction and don't realize they're pointing the way they did at the start.
It's like elementary geometry doesn't exist in their heads, and reality is just some directionless maze of confusion they're stumbling through.

Fucking Embry Ripoff students.

Anyway, since I don't want to ask /n/iggers who will tell me to become a glorified bus driver because of le heckin' jet-timerino. I am going to ask you guys...

What do I get? My only requirement is that the aircraft should be a seat no more than two (I guess two and a smaller seat like on some early model Stinson Voyagers is fine) and it should cost $100k or less. Oh yeah, and no bomebuilts or anything powered by a Jabiru.

It's a hardware problem. Can't be patched. Blame these little fucks.

no idea i learned all that from 2d/3d pinball and pool as a baby literally
i think most people are just naturally dumb, unless they grew up with rc drones/planes/cars i dont think this will change
idiots cant even visualise the classic apple in their head let alone work out rudimental physics/cause and effect
let them all die from the vax/whatever meme

it's easy, those warning are just when your vision is obscured by clouds/fog and you approach a mountain or something (in practical terms that is, if you're not doing some stupid shit, and even then you should already be aware of potential mountains from your flight plan)

Lots of people overestimate their capability when it comes to aircraft, especially when unfamiliar with the perils of actually being in one. Lots of crashes don't tend to happen because people are just too stupid to realize where they are. They happen because rapid changes in conditions (usually weather airspeed or altitude rather than merely "direction") cause confusion and the pilot refuses to tell ATC that they're having a problem.

i learned very early on not to stall out aircraft in sims lots of gliding/coasting with engine off as well

makes me shudder the kind of pilots they let fly planes now ever since 2020 i refuse to get on a plane not just because of the vax/altitude clotter/hype but also the dei and skill ceiling has been lowered so much as well as maintaince its just beyond idiocracy tier, havent been on a plane since 2014~ because of this FUCK flying
Anonymous No.28710039 [Report] >>28710053 >>28710213

Again, inability to do this is not what causes crashes. You should look at real-world situation channels like Pilot Debrief to get a better idea of what kinds of things people face.

you mean them freaking out in emergency inflight situations when they face breakdowns or?

I'm a sim pilot but, I can't tell you how many times I've crashed an F-16 doing retarded things

yeah its not like us simbros can just press reset irl unless you belive in reincarnation/respawning lol

No. There are massive amounts of knock-on effects that occur from prior choices made, some of them before the pilot even gets on the plane, that result in deaths and crashes. You can crash via overloading your airplane with a combination of too many people, luggage, and fuel. You can crash via sudden changes in air pressure or downforce that were not foreseeable. You can crash via weather obscuration of altitude or heading. It's not as simple as just saying "I'm built different and wouldn't be stupid." People that think that way are unironically the most likely people to crash.

oh i see yeah i used to train for all that used to make alot of failiure conditions and whatnot
Not that ill ever get back on a plane but its nice to know

Yeah, I know. UND, FIT, ATP, etc., etc. I just thought that ragging on ERAU was funny.

Frankly these talking heads are not that great. Paul Bertorelli and Paul Berge are the only two I would listen to as they talk sense.

What you are better off doing is looking at Aviation Safety Network, Kathryn's Report of FAA ASIAS reports.
