unpopular /o/pinions
Post your unpopular opinions about cars, bonus points if they're specifically unpopular on /o/. I want to see some grade-A shit-stirring.
>Lowering road cars/"stance" is the automotive equivalent of castration. It's turning something beautiful and capable into an ugly, rolling eunuch.
>Off-track, less grip is more fun, and even non-sporty modern cars are so performant that the average enthusiast can't really drive them at the limit. The average 911 driver on a mountain road is so slow that you can keep up with him in an overloaded Golf, and that's in the corners. Rich boomers who build comically oversteery Alfa Romeo restomods are doing it right.
>Group B WRC is the most overrated era in all of motorsport, rallying got way better and faster afterwards.
>Haldex AWD is really good at what it's designed for. It may not be fun, but it's very functional.
>The GR Yaris and A110 are the last cars with soul.
>If people were less aggressive on the road and kept their distance better, we'd all reach our destinations quicker.
