I'm planning on going to England next week in hopes of walking the Southwestern coastal path.

My preparations were quite minimal: only packed a sleeping bag, and few other essentials.

I'm new to long-distance hiking so can someone with a little experience explain to me if I dun goofed? What are the cons of sleeping without a tent, mat and just a cheap sleeping bag. I've heard of the possibility of mosquito bites and whatnot, but I don't know how likely that is.

Thank you, anons.

i live in a similarily rainy climate but in the summer we have stretches where it is dry as Ben Shapiro's wife's vagina. then all you need are a wool blanket or two to wrap up in when it gets chilly overnight and youre all set
