What kind of things belong in a prepper cache?
Here's what I have so far:

- Water Filters
- Bulk non-perishable food
- First-Aid Kit
- Tent / Tarp
- Fire Kit
- Flashlight
- Multitool
- Shotgun
- Extra Ammo for trading
- Radio
- Cash / Gold
- Maps
- Garmin GPS

Does anyone else do this?

LARP thread, but that’s ok because sometimes larping is fun.

>flashlight
If all you’re doing is looking around, and that’s literally it, a flashlight is fine. If you have to use your hands a headlamp is a better option. But how often do you really need to use your hands for anything?

i feel like prepping isnt larping because its for emergencies, not for pretending to go outside

gear hording for "runaway to da woodz!" fantasies isn't even LARPing, it's just /in/cel daydreaming.
touch grass, get exercise, eat better, stop taking on shitty debt for shitty things, stop doooomcooooming as coping mechanism to avoid addressing how you've fucked your life up.

>prepping for emergencies
Stock up on entertainment and junk food. Books, board games, puzzles… Get a binder and keep important documents in it (birth certificates, insurance of every kind, titles to vehicles, lease agreements if you have them, etc.).

I was in New Orleans for Katrina. Food and toilet paper are basic bitch, baby’s first timing prepping stuff.

I break my preps down into categories
>Water
Stored water
Filters/chemicals/steripen
Rainwater tank
>Food
Stored food - Non-perishables sure but perishables are fine too if you cycle through them regularly. I even count the freezer full of venison in my preps since we've got solar
Ongoing food - Veg garden, chickens, larger livestock if you can, fishing/hunting gear. Include seed/fodder for the animals, fertilizer for the garden, etc
Flavor - Salt, spices, hot sauce, etc
>Security
Do you have a gun? Alarm system? Have you reinforced your door? How 'diverse' is your neighborhood?
>Shelter, power, living supplies
What do you need to keep yourself warm and comfortable? Can you cook/shit/clean yourself/light your environment?
Big category and can be subdivided into heating, lighting, etc. I count everything from the solar panels on my roof and the r-value of my walls down to flashlights, firewood and packets of wet wipes.
>Info/navigation/comms
Got a radio? Maps of your area +/- bug out location (road maps + topo)? Repair manuals for your car?
>Medical
First aid training and gear, any meds you need, etc
>Bug-out gear
A lot of this gear will already be counted in food, water and other categories but how is it stored? If your house is on fire or a flood is rolling in, do you have to run around collecting food/clothes/insurance paperwork or can you just grab a backpack and go?
I also count my tents and camping gear in this category.
Is your car well-maintained? Do you have a jerrycan or two of gas or are you going to be stuck in traffic watching it tick down to empty? Do you have a bike if gas becomes unavailable?
Where will you go? How will you get there?
>Wealth
Investments, ready cash, gold, trade goods.
Don't prep for nuclear war but ignore the risk of redundancy.
>People
What are your neighbors like? Do you have friends and family you can rely on? Etc
>Skills/Knowledge/Fitness
Are you an asset or a liability in an emergency?
Anonymous No.2834251
Reading material yes that includes Porn, alcohol for fun and disenfection/cleaning, sewing stuff, wet whipes, Important Documents and maps of the area. Thats really all i got

>i feel like prepping isnt larping because its for emergencies
Anon, I love the whole LARPing for SHTF thing, been kinda prepping half-assedly for 10 years.
But let's be honest, pretty much none of the emergencies you'll actually come across will require you to bug-out (at least not the "fuck this, gonna go innawoods" way). Mock bug-outs are still a fun way to go camping.
You can find plenty of videos on youtube from preppers of all sort telling you about their experiences with actually having an emergency where they have to leave the house.

As for creating caches, it's a completely useless LARP that is only good for you to bury old gear you don't need anymore.
You'll never use it.
Closest thing to this that I have is a saw, hatchet, knife kit I left at two or three locations that I go to LARP innawoods often. This way I can carry way less weight and a smaller backpack.

Fuck the GPS, too expensive to bury. Grab laminated paper maps.

Don't forget to bury it deep enough for it to not come back up in a couple of years.

P.S.: bury another knoife, who the hell buries a multitool but not another knife.

P.P.S.: since you're going hardcore LARPing, bury a small toolkit, pair of pliers, a spanner, Philips screwdriver, maybe a cheap ratchet set, etc.

The only time I went to war the thing I missed the most was porn. And I was already a full blown alcoholic.

But what quenched my thirst for jacking off in a porta potty to Lexi Belle was killing hajis.

I have so many funny stories about killing hajis it got me kicked out of my free college.

Or just when ordinary civilians do it too? (for some strange peculiar reason)

This whole website is overrun by jews proxy.
Out of 300,000 posts, 150,000 are from jizzrael, we found out in a leak.
This is why you see that freak up above who's alcoholic ex zogbot who's actually a crippled IDF whose legs get blown off by Hamaschads srill seething about 'hajis'. They got paid to spam here.

Whenever there's a topic which is beneficial to goyims, (((they))) wil drown it out.
So, whenever you see the shills goes out in force to discredit something, know that it's actually something important.

Is it that the whole prepping thing is just for losers who permanently feel inferior to others so their fantasy of a way out is preparing for a fictitious and unlikely scenario so that, were it to play out, they finally just once would be on the sunny side and better of than others.
Meanwhile in reality:
Whatever wont even happen.
But if it really happened
the government made much better and more thoughtful provisions for everyone.
Normal people spending their time being productive could just pay their way out and if that wasnt an option anymore because global happening they'd still get sheltered in a government bunker with adequate supplies laughing at preppers too arrogabt to admit it and thus stuck with their own ill thought out provisions.

You're not jewish.
How do I know?
Because all jews just realized its important to have bunkers with prepped food, after te recent Iranian missile rain of death descended upon them at hypersonic speed.

Also only a pajeet could be this fucking stupid. Or a glowniggery pajeet.

>Another one-size-fits-all retard
Figure out what you're prepping for, first.
For example, the GPS only makes sense if you expect to a. have to navigate and b. be able to rely on US military systems. In my case, for example, neither is the case.

Not to mention that half the stuff you list isn't exactly suitable for long-term caching. Ammo will corrode, firestarters and maps will rot, batteries will die. Where i live, a gang placed a bunch of caches back in the 70s (and successfully used them to evade a massive manhunt for two months in midwinter, after escaping from the cops with nothing but light clothing), but even though those caches were well done (wax-sealed aluminum milkcans, with waterabsorbers on the inside), whenever one has been found since, the insides were little more than sludge and rust. Of course, you could check the caches every month or so, but then the risk of them being discovered goes up massively.

Dumb. GPS is the most likely to remain operational in a global war. Bush pledged and codified into law that it wouldn't be degraded in wartime and they've increased the accuracy of civilian gps multiple times since then. It's essential for worldwide logistics now.

Glonass is garbage unless you're literally an enemy state of the US and even then it's retarded because US ISR would btfo your ability to use it anyway. Plus the accuracy, LMAO, is trash.

Yeah, there is a concerted effort between jew and jeets to shut off critical boards on this site.
Jeetbot spam threds to discredit real posters with real topics.
Board like /k/ was practically shut down by the bots, because jews don't wsnt white men to have weapons to defend themselves.
/out/, they ridiculed any real posters, to discourage them from taking it to the real world.
/pol/ was spammed by jews to nearly unusable with BBC and bait thread. Can't have the goyims learn about the world.
/biz/ was spammed by cyrptojeets, convincing unaware youngsters to thriw away their money into shitcoins instead of something real and beneficial.

/out/ however, barely have any traffic, so we don't see the jeets and jews as often, but you can smell them from their posts.

Depends on what you're preparing for and where you are. Living on a farm I already have decent food supply for most cases worth preparing for, so for me the big event is a solar flare, so underground, fariday cage and a radio. A calculator or aGPS in hopes that enough sttelites got shielded and a cold backup of my files.
