Biscayne or Everglades, depending on what you're into. Dry Tortugas if you're fat and lazy and want to do some very, very easy snorkeling (I went when I was fat).

I lived in florida for most of my life and its is pretty terrible for trails and hiking
myakka river, paynes prairie, and some of the beach parks are nice but thats really about it

Florida really isn't it when it comes to hiking, most places just add up to being flatwoods, pine trees, and swamps. The best is arguably in the panhandle where it gets a bit hilly, and you start to see red clay. Blackwater is still mostly pine trees, but the river that runs through it is isolated at points, and has clear water depending on when your there. Its not nearly as swampy as some of the other spots in FL.

Its used mostly by ATV riders. Which is about all its good for, because its just pine trees with flooded atv trails running through them. I've been there several times and almost stepped on a cotton mouth last time.

Paynes prairie flooded after Hurricane Irma in 2017 and is now mostly marsh/lake. Only the trails along the periphery are usable and there isnt really the possibility to hike out into it. Cone's Dike trail is still open though

i just want to snorkel cool places. I have never been to Florida. I am alone. Where should I go?
