I need to strategically plan my exit from society. I'm thinking off-grid homestead. Full off-grid, no GPS, no radio, no sewer, no power, no cell.

I don't get the connection here? Even if society is going downhill, what's the advantage of cutting yourself off from even radio?

You can have all of those without any problem.
Both GPS and radio work (essentially) the same way, you just receive the signal. You're not exchanging data.
And both sewer and power can be done as off-grid systems thanks to...eewwwww...technology. (solar, wind power, shit even a biodiesel powered generator could be a possibility; as for sewer the obvious septic tank/leech field, or even something as simple as a composting toilet)
