When I graduated college I ended up in a small mining town in AZ working a comfy 8 on 6 off schedule. Spent a lot of those 6 days off in your picture there. Pic related is my favorite place to go hiking/backpacking for vacations.

besides "all of it"? the forested mesas with lakes are very cool, the white river is epic, the canyons and desert are very cool just like in utah, the san juans are unreal, youve got a lot of big ass mountains throughout the whole west slope you basically cant go wrong anywhere on the west slope

rico colorado is 10/10

Huge fan of the San Juans and if you're into Mountain Biking, then Fruita/Grand Junction has some of the best I've ever ridden.

Relative lack of people and the Sawtooth forest has some of the best lakes I've ever seen. Also, my mom is the one that got me into backpacking, and now that she's older I take her and my wife up there once a year as a way of thanks. So since she's older, it physically is still work like 3-4K climbs, but you don't get into any rough elevations like Colorado.
