I need a water bottle that

1. Won't poison me with microplastics or metal flakes
2. Is easy to clean without a dishwasher
3. Holds at least a liter

What are my options?

Not being a pussy. How much impact do you think a plastic bottle has on a modern human? Have you seen how we live?

Try stainless steel if you're so afraid. It's perfectly food-safe and not much heavier than overpriced titanium shit.

You may look for stainless steel bottles with a changeable natural rubber ring within its cap.

This isn't a thing, and even if it was it would be harmless. Stainless steel flakes aren't toxic.

do people really do this? I'd go through one a week with how often I drop my stainless steel bottle

You get used to it. After a month of regularly drinking from glass bottles, you develop calluses in your throat and a double stomach lining.

Lol

Seriously. You cannot avoid microplastics unless you live the life of a hermit. Even if you avoid plastic 100% in your daily life. Even if you buy everthing in nonplastic containers - what do you think that food was processed in? What do you think happens to abraded car rubber particles? And not for a second do I believe that the kind of people who avoid synthetic clothing and water bottles do all that.

There are titanium canteen sets on aliexpress if you feel like spending the money.
Else there is stainless steel, much heavier and somewhat more robust.

Is BPA-free TPU as hormonally active and microplastic-generating as other plastics?
>>2843346
That's stupid. You could make the same argument about ubiquitous carcinogenic substances.
Any sane person will avoid them all the same, reducing exposure thus lessening effects.
Every thread a pointless argument.

If someone’s argument is based solely on asking questions, they are a boomer brained Q-anon tier brainlette that should be ridiculed for being gay and dumb.

Microplastics are real and they are negatively impacting the environment and the human body you mongoloid. The proliferation of plastic was done by ghouls who knew that the product they were making was unsustainable but they did not care and pushed to phase out plastic alternatives in the greedy pursuit of profit. Our world is drowning in plastic all so a handful of motherfuckers could get unfathomably rich. You’re an absolute cuck for defending plastics in foodways.

>>2841588 (OP)
I like my hydroflask a lot. It has a plastic cap but as long as you are not putting hot liquids in the bottle, you’re safe. That’s actually the case with a lot of plastics. You’re always going to get some microplastics from them but as long as you are not heating them up, BPA’s and their practically identical replacement chemicals will be minimal. That said, fuck plastic. I’m all for it being use in things like medicine but things like single use bottles, bags, and food packed with plastics really rustles my jimmies.

Or get a hydroflask or Kleen kanteen. I like their single walls but you must keep it in the sleeping bag if cold. What are you gonna do abouts water bladder? Or are you just going to the park for a night?

>Our world is drowning in plastic all so a handful of motherfuckers could get unfathomably rich.
Communist delusions. Our world is drowning in plastic so people don't have to carry expensive, fuckheavy metal and glass containers for food. And wear cheap outdoor-worthy clothing that can be washed. And enjoy a thousand more conveniences. Living without plastic is mostly still possible, and some people do it. And properly disposing of it is also possible and alleviates most of the problem. People are just too cheap, too comfortable and too dumb to do it.

Metal and glass wouldn’t be so expensive if it was mass produced like before look at Mexico most of their beloved sugar water coke is still in glass bottles because the infrastructure is still there to produce those bottles
Anonymous No.2846714 [Report]
>>2846698
More delusions. Tin cans and glass bottles are still being produced in numbers so large, economy of scale advantages are hardly to be made any more. They're more expensive because of physics, that's the reason.
