Suggestions for best accounting software for farms?
There are the big general purpose ones, Intuit, clover etc and several agriculture specific ones, farmraise, ambrook etc. any recommendations? I need receipt scanning capability, expense totals, invoice generator, and ideally inventory count but don't really want my livestock data shared with big brother.

There is little to no need for "farm specific" accounting software. Just normal accounting software covers 95% of your needs. If you want a farm management software, then it will depend on the type of farm you have.

If you want to know farm laws and loopholes and shit go take some courses at an ag college. Or get to know other local farmers and talk shop. Old time farmers will tell you how the government pays you. Your software wont.
