Mediterranean /out/ is absolute dogshit. France and Italy have some cool places like picrel but it's not really out, you are never more than 100m from the road. Everything else is Infinite yellow dead bushes and dry soil. Imagine adding Jews and Arabs to that, the nightmare. At least you stay in your containment country I guess, that's a good thing

That's just not true. The diving off the med side of France is great. It's not the best in the world but it's definitely an experience worth doing. I haven't fished in the med yet but I'd like to do that too.
