Camelbak Quality H20 Hydration
What camelbak hydration bladders do you guys like/use? Have you had any bad experience with any particular brands? Are some materials better than others?

I got a "3L long neck reservoir" camelbak that i got as part of a secondhand milsurp gear set. Haven't got any chance to actually use it. Is this shit any good?

I bought a Heikln but the ends on the straw weren't removable which led to mold. You have to get one that is easy to clean or you will be drinking moldy water.

I use the Dachgo Hydration bladder (3l)
What I like:
you want ones with circular screw off lids the other kinds are harder to use and you don't want the kind with like a clip on top sealing it either
and it has two chambers so ice water doesn't make sloshing noises while you hike
also I think the hoses that come with them are the good kind - meaning it connects to a plastic mouthpiece that can be set to always open or closed with a twist valve
but - I buy the, unfortunately expensive, camelbak big bite mouthpieces, because the included ones you can't get nearly enough water down at once with

I am in the market for a replacement backpack
what I have now is a slightly older camelbak backpack design 20L and its just too small but its otherwise great other than that the back straps give up after a year or two
what I like is it has zippered small outside pockets so i can keep my wallet/meds within easy reach without having to put the backpack down and rifle through a main chamber - and I can't seem to find anything like that in a slightly larger size - so I can carry more gear maybe 30-40L is what I want

I have never once cleaned a bladder except when I first buy them and have never encountered mold.

Is there anything wrong with drinking mouldy water?

Osprey is the best brand. They are made from the same material they use for hospital use.
