Got my second ever film roll back from the lab. Still figuring out my settings, especially since I started shooting this one before having seen the results from my first roll.
Nothing to special, I like doing more artsy stuff on digital, but for film photography I want to do a bit more of a documentary style, so I can put all of these in an album and look back at in 10-20 years to see what I was up to in 2025

Keep going and don't let yourself be discouraged. I've owned a DSLR since 2020 but didn't take the hobby seriously until around 2 years ago. And I can tell you there were so many times where I thought my photos are shit and boring and I should quit (and occasionally I even did for a bit) but looking back I've made so much progress and I'm sure there is still a lot to come.

Finally was able to get some pictures of Fuji that I’ve wanted this whole trip, but landscape photography has been something I really struggle with. I find the photos are never sharp enough compared to others I see. Would love some feedback or suggestions on what settings I should be using to help with this. Did I crank the fstop to high? I was shooting anywhere from f14-20 for these. Can I get away with something lower with the mountain being so far behind the foreground? I did not bring a tripod with me which I think is probably a big part of the problem. I would just sit down and rest my 70-200 on my knee with a bit of a higher shutter speed.

Yea I did notice a couple flecks on the sensor yesterday, and I think I trapped a piece of dust between the lens and the UV filter, but I don’t see it in other photos… weird. I’m going to buy a sensor cleaning kit though, never done that before. Thank you for the feedback!

Ok noted on the fstop thanks. Yea there was this horrible dust cloud that came in a few days before so the air wasn’t super crisp. The first one wasn’t too bad for air quality but the second was pretty well into sun down. It’s not a great excuse though lol it really wasn’t as bad as the day before.
