way over saturated, the exposure is off (just look at that poor girls leg), there is a vague semblance of composition but it makes me think you only did it because you've heard of the rule of thirds not because you understood how to use it to make your subject stick out
I mean yeah the dude is sitting in the top left but why should I care? It doesn't make him blend in better with his surrounding, he isn't doing anything super interesting that makes me care
These two pics really give me the impression that you either didn't care or were too shy to take time to snap something better

/rpt/ has such a low barrier of entry that even a 3/10 photo is "nice" worthy. The pinecone probably meets this threshhold, but I agree with you that it's bland and overall a bit shitty.
If this was 2006 I'd go "huh that's a neat photo of a pinecone anon", but today it just means someone missed focus on a stationary object at three inches away and has the noise profile of a 1st gen MFT at base ISO.
