I'm going to start filming content on my bicycle/while walking.
Most of it will be done at night time in a big city, in POV.
I'm not sure which camera to pick that would be :
1) bang for the buck(under $200 ideally, would go as high as $300)
2) wearable and discreet enough to film interactions and keep them natural
3) decent battery life(at the very very very least, 5 hours)
4) decent video quality
5) still able to operate with relatively low light (not extreme darkness per se, moreso like 10 PM in a urban area)

Any suggestions please?

Seems pretty good, with amazing deals on eBay, but I see online it has a battery life for continuous video filming of about ~1 hour. I suppose the solution then would be to have it on a powerbank 24/7?
It seems small enough to be made wearable as well but I would have to set that up myself.
Thank you for this suggestion I will note that.

I don't know much about cameras this is new to me as I am trying to do this thing right now.
Would it really be enough for my needs / make quality content?
I will look into these crash cams still. Do you have any specific ones in mind?
Thank you for your suggestion.

The Rx0's battery is comparable to the gopro hero 11 but the bigger sensor really kills it in low light

I dont think there's a such thing as a high quality camera with crazy battery life without an external power bank wired to it.

All but battery life: DJI action 2, I got mine on sale for 169 at amazon
I love this form factor and I hope they keep making something in it
It comes with a little necklace to wear under your shirt and then it just sticks to it magnetically, otherwise you'd need one of those 4 strap chest rigs to fit a bigger action camera
It does 140 mbit/s 4k120, but overheats, you could do lower framerates or resolutions for longer. Actually if you're not in a hot area the cooling effect from the wind might be enough to negate it. The sequels (action 3, 4, 5) each do lower bitrates. It's like what happened with the original eos M and it's sequels.
For my purposes (RC vehicles and also bike rides occasionally) it's perfect, everything else is too big or discontinued or too old. FPV drone guys are fond of it too.
I also considered the caddx walnut which looks like a slightly gimped version of it for only around $100 but it looks less available

ah it looks like they did something similar with the standard GoPro mount but at ~150 grams for the modern GoPro sized cameras this might not hold up as well

The Insta360 Go series would be pretty discrete and comfortable to wear, the downside is the battery life. It's only 38 minutes continuous or 76 minutes with the additional battery pack, although with the latter you could also then run a cable to it from a battery bank to keep it charged. If you're not going to be shooting continuously the action pod (the case thing with the screen) gives you an additional 100 minutes, if you let it charge in that for about an hour. You can also record with it inside the action pod (so no waiting for it to charge and you can also plug a cable into that to power it) but by that point it's a similar size and weight to most other action cams.
