I went to the art gallery expecting my snaps to come out clean, raw, emotional, inspiring. But I couldn’t get into the last room at the back because several gorgeous women were recording the artworks on high end mirrorless cameras suspended in the air on avant-garde gimbals that stabilise themselves using motion sensors and electronics.
I walked through, hesitatingly, a budget DSLR on my person; they laughed as I awkwardly trudged by, on account of me having a Pentax camera slung around my neck apres snapshitting session.

I could hear them chide…

They tried to whisper but their scorn and derision and mocking filled the cool gallery air.
They were walking through the exhibits with gimbals that corrected themselves with motion sensors, and I promptly left the Gallery with two dozen blurry snapshits on my measly 2GB SD card…

i went to the art gallery with my nikon d750 and 28-300, thought everything there was dogshit, and then left to go take pictures of something more worth looking at

I had a couple funny moments when i had my gear w/ me.
Saturday i was at a festival in my area and had my d3 and f3 with me. A couple walk past me and they both eyeball my shit and they loudly talk about back in their day everyone who was serious used Canon and Nikon is ugly and heavy.

2nd was abit over a week ago and i had my d3 and F and was with 2 friends at a botanical garden. A photograpgher couple comes up and the guy was decent looking and hit it off with her judging by the laughs and vibe. We walk pas them and the giggles stop and i feel the mogging of my vintage 35mm camera with a fuck huge pro dslr with 2 female models in tow with me.
