For anyone paying attention I will be making a cats vs dogs photo competition thread.
So far the rules are
images must contain at least one cat or one dog
pictures must be taken after thread is made
no composite imagery or AI BS
film, digital, or prints will be permitted.
You will have two weeks to submit your pictures before judging/voting begins
Does anyone have a suggestion on how many photos can be submitted? Maybe 3 photographs per cat/dog.

Photographs will be judged on creative and photographic merits of the image moreso than the image quality, but both shall be considered during judging.

Best single photograph as well which group had better photographs on average will be judged/voted on.

Also I have a cat and love cats, dumbass. I saved her life as a helpless little kitten. She was hell bent on getting mauled by our livestock guardian dogs. I carried her back in my arms that night and she has stayed in my home ever since.

I think most pet owners kind of take the same type of photos of their pets, regardless of whether or not they're dog or cat people. On the other hand I do prefer photos of stray cats over photos of dogs.
