I tried shooting 120 once and the DR and grain was as bad as micro four thirds. I guess in theory if you shot a black and tan dog and scanned it with a $3000 fool frame you could count as many blurry dog hairs as an a7rv lol but then why not just use the a7rv and a film sim? Film is so stupid

Even the blobmeras are starting to rise in price these days. Nothing is being spared. But you can still take a chance with like an eos 5/a2, it’s a solid piece of kit, and I still see those sub 100 on eBay. Risky though cause they have the typical 90s canon broken dial and it’s a pain to fix. The eos 1 is also awesome feeling to use even with its single center focus point, and can be found cheap. I have both in addition to my leícas and 1D, and enjoy them as well. But “higher” tier than those and the price explodes, an eos 3 still goes for like 300 canuckbucks which is crazy to me.

Equivalence copers lack creativity. Everyone has to only photograph gray cards under international standard lighting, at equivalence. Only SNR charts matter to them. If the 45mp camera has less aliasing and finer detail at every output size, and the 100mp even better, thats about the way images look so it doesnt matter. if medium format has better color sensitivity they dont care. they only care about noise charts because they only use cameras to take indoor snapshits of their cat.
