In the absence of new battery technology which quite frankly I don't see happening anytime soon because if it was viable they would have used it in drones and cellphones by now, we can expect people to be less exited about new electronics not connected to the grid. Furthermore the manufacturers of cars does not make any standards which makes swapping batteries easy. It is just the more of the same planned obsolescence bullcrap. EVs are at the point now that people are starting to feel the real cost of ownership.
