Learned a lot of things about focus stacking today. I think the most important is that you want way more than 7 pictures, and that you want them to have overlapping areas in focus. Also using a sock as a made up tripod is not ideal and a macro rail would probably help

I'm not rolling, but if I do get something I'd actually not hate to do and it doesn't involve harassing a stranger, I might actually try.
