I have The Orange Box for Playstation. I played it once. Then me and my (at the time) girlfriend split up (my fault entirely). I never played it again. Even seeing it was a painful reminder of how badly I failed her. Yet I kept it and still have it. I don't play it. I just keep it. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with me.

Anytime I see it, I remember her. Anytime I see it, I feel nothing but pain and sorrow. I destroyed our beautiful life together.

funnily i bought the orange box on steam fully intending to play TF2 like a machine but because of my GF at the time i just never had time but i returned to it years later after we broke up and im reminded of what a boon it was leaving that sack of shit behind and how i could have enjoyed the game so much earlier has she not been an albatross around my neck for so many years

It was a combination of factors.
She kept talking to this mutual friend behind my back and I could have just put a stop to that without ending our relationship, but the fact that she hid it from me at all was just too much of a red flag for me to ignore.
Another woman who professed to be a diehard monogamist came into the picture. Said other woman was a beautiful, but evil individual full of manipulations, lies, and violent tendencies, but she initially hid it well.
I ended things with the first girl, then dated the next.
That second relationship was ended by me after she decided to take off her mask.

I blame myself for being young and very stupid.

bought it for ps3 off newegg for $43 new in 2007 or 08. played the half life games once and then became addicted to tf2. the console versions never got an update so it was basically beta tf2. amazing game 2fort and dustbowl only. hundreds and hundreds of hours on those two maps. demo and engineer only. i googled my username one time and somebody made a thread on a popular gaming site basically just glazing my demo skills on dustbowl wondering how i was so good. best moment of my life. then i became an alcohol and everything went downhill until i discovered nicholas j fuentes a few months ago

I ended a relationship around the time Company of Heroes did the western forces DLC. I played it with friends and we're still fairly connected after all these years. All I remember from the relationship was bitching and complaining. Looking back, playing that with friends was one of the happiest times of my life and I'm glad I just cut things off
