They aren't being groomed into working on plantations, they aren't being enslaved or manipulated. They are working there because everyone is dirt poor and the family needs an extra 5 cents to provide as much as they could for their kids. Who knows, it might not even be enough.

Only way to "end child labor" for good is to make it so that the kids don't need to work, meaning you would need the parents to work enough so that the kids don't have to and you'd need to make schools.

The issue that he's either unaware of or avoiding to cover isn't the work itself. Work is good. But the fact that they're being EXPLOITED. That's the fucking problem. Children SHOULD be working instead of wasting their time being spoiled by bullshit. If school is a factor, also add some kind of work to the curriculum so that they're there for a solid 8 hours, minimum, and pay them too so that they can learn the value of money and how to use it.

But the reason why this isn't done is fucking deliberate. It's to create a weak ass society. It's why shit like LA riots happen and why whites are letting themselves get walked over by shitskins. It fuels Peter Pan syndrome.
