I think he's done a pretty good job of showing why the republican platform doesn't work. They are in a position to get everything they want, but all it does is make things worse. They have dismantled a bunch of federal agencies, meaning that shit that used to work is now left broken, and its not even going to save us any money because the debt from their budget bill makes any costs that DOGE saved irrelevant. They stepped up deportations to be hard on immigration, but they couldn't find enough legitimate targets for it to meet their quotas so they are sending un-uniformed goon squads into elementary schools to abduct children who are only in the US because they were *trafficked here as kids* and we have literally no idea where their families are or even in many cases where they came from so there is nowhere to send them.
He raised a big stink on the economy with tariffs, started a trade war, couldn't make up his mind about it, and ruined America's economic reputation for nothing. Trump started the trade war, but China won it without even trying because we burned bridges left and right and they are happy to soak up whatever business we threw away.

The democrats suck, but I don't see how people are going to want to ever vote Republican again after this.
