I haven't paid dues in a couples years because I was in a rough situation for a little while. My dad passed away and I gave up my live to be close to my mom. None of them called to check in. The only time I heard from them was when they wanted me to send my dues. The cost isn't that big of an issue, I'd happily pay what I owe now that I have it. But, they've added like some kind of interest on it that now they're asking for twice as much as I owe.
Even though I could pay it, why would I want to? I don't get any benefit of membership since I had to move and none of them even cared.
