Mate I am Aussie. Though pretty sure I saw copies of Destroy All Humans in a video game store here I visited, so sure at least some Thai people have played it.

I liked DAH2 especially because it kept the world size perfect for what it wanted to do. No filler travelling BS. A perfectly sized map, and 5 of them to explore. Intricately detailed and good parts of the map get used multiple times in fun missions. No area is really wasted, everything has a cool atmosphere and a fun design and something cool to see or do. Mechanics are fun as fuck and are all designed around making sure the player can do whatever sort of chaos and mayhem they want to do, and structuring the story around allowing the player to use the mechanics, in a way that also is not too BS in an alien story. No BS drama or cinematic movie BS getting in the way of gameplay, the story is both good while also totally yielding to the game making sure it's always fun.

DAH1 is not as good, but they clearly learned their lessons and made a real near masterpeice with DAH2. If they had been given a third shot, with more computing power, with a PS3 DAH3, it would have been one of the greatest games of all time for sure. Same for Pandemic and the Star Wars Battlefront 3 we never got, that looked like 11/10 Greatest of All Time material back then and it still looks dope now because we still have nothing like that. Yet somehow Pandemic got huge 3D cubed open worldish maps with both space and ground and space to ground seamless map making all done on PS3 back in 2008 yet it was cancelled for the most BS reason ever, "no interest" yet the entire internet at the time was jizzing over the trailer and people still remember it nearly 2 decades later. FFS I am mad at that cancellation still.

I would have prefered that DAH3 remain a comedy like the first 2 were. The games were pretty funny and had a great sense of humor. Especially reading people's minds, every NPC type has really funny and interesting thoughts, especially if you read the minds of all the stoned hippies and read all their mental headtrips.

But I get what you are saying, but that would be better in it's own series. DAH could have been a subgenre for sure. A more dark and serious and adult themed DAH game would be fucking awesome.
