I have to agree.
Interesting decade to live in, for sure, but not at all pleasant.
Worst out of all I've been a part of, really.
There's still the back half, but it's really hard to imagine making up for it there.

That said, if you haven't been having a blast, you should consider your perspectives.

Just you wait for 2030 - 2040. You have seen nothing yet.
>first western countries to be officially become minority non-white will hit
>first signs of papykrash : first boomers will die and leave behind their now worthless real estate, creating a cataclysmic crash of real estate in some areas, while real estate will keep skyrocketing in urban and densely populated areas, effectively creating a new ruler of class of people owning real estate there
>global instability economically in Western countries due to growing international threats and internal racial tensions
>Israel will have exterminated all palestinians, including the West bank, thus almost achieving the Greater Israel project

The 2030s are going to be crazy

Just a gut feeling, but also based on the fact that a lot of trends will have to come to a head in that decade (national debt levels especially in the US, demographics in both the US and Europe also Canada and Australia, AI will really be causing disruptions by then, etc.)

Hope you're ready, because you'll be looking back at the 2020s as the peaceful golden years, the way some people look back at the 90s.

There's a theory called the Strauss-Howe theory that says history goes in cycles. They say right now we're in the end phase, the worst part of the cycle, but there's going to be some devastating event that forces us to come together as a society. After the crisis is over, we'll be in a new high period, where we are unified in rebuilding after the crisis. Highs always are very conservative times. That lasts about twenty years or so before the very slow decline happens all over again. This gives me more hope than religion does. If we get through this, millennials will finally have their day. There are bad high periods though. A good example is the gilded age after the Civil War. What gives even more credence to the theory is that when Trump was reelected and put all of his rich friends into positions of power, people were saying we're entering into a new gilded age. If the fourth turning is true, us entering a new gilded age would suggest we're coming out of the crisis. But the theory also says that the crisis needs to have a total war, and Americans haven't really had a total war yet, unless you count Iraq and Afghanistan as total wars. We still don't know how this is going to play out yet.

The 2030s is when the neoliberal global order we have all been living in since the end of WWII is going to come to an end. But we haven't decided what is going to replace it. So its going to be messy (and bloody)

Seriously, the 2030s are going to be insane, at a historical level. The nothing ever happens guys will be taking a huge L.

>The end of the age of deception

This.
While it's been increasingly ass, we have never seen this many people be aware of things like the central banking and the control system bullshit around us.
The truth can't come out in good times, you need things to get absolutely fucked for people to start giving a shit.

>>507200912

It's going to be fascinating to see, as the system that's been in play will have to act.
They've overplayed their hand and their hubris has fucked their plans hard, by allowing the normies to realize what's going on.
It'll be very difficult for them to bring in a new control system, when people are increasingly angry to a point of open violence, and when the times are so bad younger generations don't even want to participate.
If they had pulled off the move in good boomer times, people would have totally accepted it.
Now it's a coin flip whether those centuries old plans of getting total control will succeed, or whether we'll see an expulsion of the detrimental elements and a West wide Spanish golden age.
