I don't hate women but the fact that she gives minimal concern to his future prospects before talking about the emotional burden on her own gender is telling. Male failure is considered far less problematic and when feminists talk about boys being "privileged" by teachers and parents letting them screw around, what they actually mean is male chiIdren are more neglected and not nearly as much effort or money is put into their education by parents, or dealing with their issues like depression or concentration problems.

When girls were behind in life, efforts were made to raise them up. Now that boys are underperforming nothing is done. Masculinity is something that's only framed positively in terms of helping women so I see why people dissociate from it by becoming trans etc. Of course they don't feel like the social contract is valid

Most people nowadays have a "fuck you, I got mine" attitude and once you get burned by that a few times, it makes you not really want to bother with anything.
Go to grad school? You'll probably end up doing ungraded lab work for some dipshit that'll "forget" to put your name on his paper.
Get a job? You'll get assraped by your boss or another employee because they've decided they need to be hyper ambitious in their bottom of the barrel min wage job.
Get a girlfriend? You'll have to go through a series of shitty first dates and being ghosted a bunch before you ultimately decide to settle for someone you don't like.
Of course it's not guaranteed to be like this but the fact it's like this fairly often is enough to make you want to check out.

Maybe when society was more communal and more local it was different. Fucking over your neighbor for short term profit has consequences because that guy or his family will remember you. Same if you're a girl and act like a cunt on a date.
