To me though, I think that Netanyahu just wants to keep the country in a state of war, and now seeks a distraction from the genocide in Gaza, and at the same time he wants to avoid any criminal charges which he would see if there was peace and he was out of office.
Also iran will not bow down to the US or israel. They welcome death. They live in shit and squallor and its their greatest honor to die for their god and their leader, so whatever. Iran is huge, they know that.
I think this is going to escalate significantly more, and in the long run, we always knew that iran was one of the 7 countries that Donald Rumsfeld and the rest of them wanted to topple. Syria is gone, so now only Iran remains.
And youd be fucked in the head to think that the "greater israel" theory is totally bunk. I think its very real - but just a bit early in its inception.
TL;DR , this is probably the next big thing as Ukraine grew stale
