The story didn't start with him, in fact fascism was a rising European western revolutionary philosophy applicable to any willing nation.
Which is why Germany, Romania, Japan and others even adopted it.
Unfortunately jews won and threw all this nuance away.

Ironically no one in Europe wanted to take Jews in before the war, Germany couldn't offload them anywhere and had to solve the problem itself, much like what they claim is happening to Palestinians (coming from jews it's probably false in this case). Roosevelt made a conference to see if anyone wanted any and everyone passed, because they knew.

The Nazis actualy were one of the biggest sponsors of Israel.
They don't teach it in school, but the Nazis were helping ships filled with jews to leave Europe and get to Palestine.
Then other European governments, including the British that created the colony of palestine and issued the Balfour Declaration complained because the Arabs were getting upset.
The Nazis were pressured to stop helping tons of jews out of europe.
They then came up with a new solution. Some say a final one.
However jews were highly literate (required for religion) and in professions of manufacturing and using documents.
Back when an identification was basicly a typed piece of paper and anyone with a typewritet could create forged identities.
So most still relocated under new identities.
The holocaust number is based on how many lived there before and after the war. Failing to account for the fact most left with forged documents and lived under new identities abroad.
