What do you think China's moves here could be?
In my opinion since usa is moving all its ships into middle east this would be perfect time for china to take taiwan - if they dont cooperate with iran and do it now it means they're never going to invade it, they wont get another chance like it again since without iran there's no more direct threats to israel
USA WOULD sacrifice taiwan to defend israel because it's their priority, there's nothing else they care about as much and china wont have any other countries that can put them in check like this without allies in the region

if china doesnt go for taiwan now while simultaneously helping iran to keep usa in middle east, they never ever will go for it
there will never be a situation ever again where they have as good of a chance to take over taiwan as they do right now
if they dont go for it, it just means they dont care at all about taiwan and they will never even think about it

Meanwhile:

>Chinese PMI is at 48.3 which is a shrinkage of industry in their export reliant economy.
>More countries are turning away from chinese shit brands such as temu. 58% less purchases in the US alone.
>EU puts restrictions on Chinese subsidies medical equipment which the CCP tries to price dump in Europe.
>Subsidies and deficit shock where until April the CCP had to increase subsidies by 50%.

China is just as reliant on subsidies money printing to crash global prices as the US lives on people buying Dollar bonds.

Ofc Neo/pol/ wont know this since everyone here is retarded since 2016.

No because then Taiwan will fight them. No more brother wars. Taiwan doesn't produce its own defense. The best plan is to watch the US kill itself defending Israel to the point that it can no longer even hypothetically defend Taiwan. At which point, rather than fight an obviously futile fight, the Taiwanese will peacefully rejoin. Literally do nothing, win

I feel like this is the last time when US will have to defend Israel tho
there's no more countries which arent under USA/Israel control in the region anymore, Iran is the last enemy Israel will have to face, once its done there's no one else who wants to touch it so USA's #1 priority will forever be safe, it will never have to spend money on anything except for china deterrence

China relies on Taiwan as their source of engineering knowledge. They have no good reason to invade it since most of Taiwan is already in China's pockets, like most other Asian countries.

taiwan isn't important when you have space weaponry. Any target can be eliminated through space. So we no longer eager for land and resources. It's just geopolitical emphasis set by US intelligence department that there is muh first island chain and such. Also i don't have a reason why we should get Taiwan first if it will result in a world war still. We should do more. But both Russia and Iran are some sleepers in the cell and seemingly get locked by Gods in their brain and they will never be good allies. We need more time to find out real allies to fight with. I think pakistan is good but there is no way they will completely side with us. Do nothing is better as long as we are progressing.

Absorbing Taiwan is not vital to China. Having it as a separate competitor works wonders. As long as they consider themselves Chinese there's no need for action.

Patience.

i don't think so. We have peaked our oil demand last year. So diversifying our oil resources will be more. No one can take that much amount except Saudi which gets along with all. Iran is more unstable so we won't bet on them. In fact we should not buy any oil from them in case of US retardation but i guess we don't care about US anymore this time or care less since they can't sanction us otherwise they will collapse.

We already have. But again, you get thousands of suppliers around the world to make that machine. It's just another Chinese burden to do it alone. I wish we could do it by ourselves only but damn that would have so many works to do. Again, we can cut off many critical suppliers from you to let your entire "western myth" to die away.

The monopoly on chips is a game of musical chairs. Basically the US wanted to keep chip manufactures away from unions so they dumped the tech off in Japan. Japan didn't want to give out loans to emerging countries like China, SEA, and so on. Which is understandable because China still had warlords and cannibalism well into the 1970s, Mao is a hero because he's the one who stopped it. But Japan's lack of wanting to invest in Asia cause the US to get mad and forced Toshiba to no longer use their licenses on tech. In the 80s they moved in Moris Chang, who used to work at Texas Instruments, into Taiwan and he established TSMC to monopolize chips in Asia, but also be completely reliant on other parts of the supply chain. To prevent unions/monopoly the US made everything in Asia a chain of production. No matter how small the component the final product won't work without cooperation and no one would try making power grabs. You can look at who had all of the licenses to things like semi-conductors it was all coming out of places like Bell Labs. Basically the more Asia develops the more attractive they become because there's no functional labor unions in any Asian country and they don't even make attempts to unionize. I sincerely can't see factories coming back unless the west decides to match the lack of labor laws Asia has.

You really want to know? The answer really isn't that interesting. Slight effort post that I know will go to waste on the vast majority of you.

From the mainstream onset of modern ML research, around when NVidia began shipping out Titans, most governments had decent/somewhat correct analysis of the economic implications of such a technology. This is before LLMs were even something a government employee, much less a layperson could fathom. China went all in on this and with good reason. Their economic model allow(ed|s) them to orient the entire market. Why do you think they have a ban on exporting their algorithms, for example most famously with TikTok? Do you think there is a section of code in there that plain as day says def function_to_steal_user_data()? No of course not, and however they are doing it ('if' they are is not a question), it is well obfuscated enough that no team of private sector engineers in the US is ever going to piece it together. So then why ban it? Because the algorithm really is that good. They understand this truly is an arm's race of sorts. Whoever hits something close to AGI -- it doesn't even have to be true AGI, first, essentially has the global economy in the palm of their hand, indefinitely. Taiwan is currently producing 80% of the global semiconductor supply, the vast majority of which is going directly to the US, who are also currently ahead in this arm's race. China is focused on nothing other than securing Taiwan for the sake of chip manufacturing so they can set up black cities, potentially even underground, running the research equivalent of 50,000 PHD-level researchers simultaneously (think Chinese-PHD level, not American), per node, 24/7, with millions of nodes, self-instruction, incredibly accurate training data, etc.
This isn't about le terminator sentience, the truth is that whoever gets this first wins.

Meanwhile in the real world:

>The Caixin/S&P Global services purchasing managersโ€™ index (PMI) rose to 51.1 in May from 50.7, remaining above the 50-mark that separates expansion from contraction.

>How many space stations does the US have on their own?
China doesn't have a space station. There's no video from it, you can't see it orbiting, etc. It's bullshit.
>How many hypersonic missiles?
Russia has those, not China.
>Affordable EVs?
Nobody in the civilized world likes EVs, even in Europe sales are falling because people don't like them. They're golf carts.
>High speed rails?
All of China's HSR technology is sourced from Japan.
>AI infrastructure machines?
AI is trash, but US AI is absolutely at the peak because we have tons of kikes working on that shit and kikes know more about IT and electronics engineering than chinks.

A few questions:
1) Language models, or any language system, requires context to work. You can't develop AGI through purely language, it's proof that language is about as complex as chess, it's a solvable gamified structure. How is AGI developing out of a space dominated by simple LLMs? At some point it's going to plateau, which leads into my next point.
2) Any type of lab requires a research component for theory and engineers that can make it real. As of right now we use Internet of things and different nodes of input to finally translate a message into binary. I can see LLMs having practical uses for automation, but not much more than that, it can't function without data much in the same way you can't describe something that doesn't have a word for it. If there's a real AGI project going on that can learn without purely predictive input I've yet to see it. You can't strip these models of data and expect them to function at all. The only thing I'm seeing is language being solved like how Stockfish solved chess.
