NEH knew that human biology is both too complex for a manmade coronavirus to have any serious effect on an otherwise healthy body, the flu being the most evolutionarily optimized virus. the flu is both weak enough to spread throughout a population without burning itself out, and also strong enough to cause serious illness. all other viruses are hollywood movie viruses would could never actually spread in reality because they kill their host too quickly. NEH also knew that vaxxes are memes and that no single vaxx can effect most people in the same way, so some people are bound to have adverse effects but on the whole it both wouldn't protect anyone and also wouldn't really effect anyone, the human body being far too complex and the human genome being far too diverse for any vaxx to have an effect on the whole population.
