Something will happen in that time that will allow them to take it comparatively easily I’m sure.
Like let the US commit to some big conflict and. Wait until their military is much weaker, some financial crisis or disease, hell Taiwan could get offside with everyone, who knows, but they won’t rush in.

No. The West is currently tearing itself apart but invading Taiwan would risk unifying us. China's best play is to simply focus on continuing to exist and exerting their influence. If they're still around and doing fine in 100 years then they'll have already absorbed Taiwan without firing a shot.
Although if a full blown WWIII breaks out then yeah, they may as well go for it.
