because every western country is going to have a depopulation problem soon since nobody wants to be replaced by immigrants. I different solution must be found to failing birth rates. Even with immigration, the countries immigrants come from will be declining in birth rates too. Then we have a hundred or so years until populations actually start dropping. It's not because of lack of resources so it's not like it will bounce back when there are less people consuming. It's an existential crisis for humanity.
