I can sometimes play the classics from the 90s or some decent indie titles for longer periods, albeit this is rare. Mostly it's 5-30 mins at max before I go "fuck this, I got stuff to do".
Gaming was (and still is, if done occasionally) fun, but at some point you just grow up. Unless you are the one buying dinosaur dungarees so you can wear them while eating Cheerios and watching cartoons on Saturdays, and make social media post how you "did an adult today" and reward yourself with a new game.
At some point you just have let go of your youth.

This is the only high IQ way of doing it. It removes online play though, but Nintendo has never really supported quality online servers.
