>>507337741 (OP)if you're at that point, and you don't have a wife or children, then you can eject from the situation entirely and find somewhere else to do doing something different. can be temporary or otherwise, but when you've been stuck in a place/situation for long enough, it feels like it's the whole world, the only possibility.
the trick is, to say "fuck it", get rid of all your stuff, sell it, sell your property, sell your car if you don't need it right away, and fuck off elsewhere.
find a volunteering position somewhere for 3-6 months, abroad maybe. it's summer, i knew a guy in the US who every summer would join up with hte forestry commission and travel round with them for several months clearing debris in forests to reduce wildfire risks. he had food and accommodation, don't know if it paid. but it keeps you afloat, keeps you doing something different, and gives you idea, time and time away from that shithole situation. also means you meet people and talk to them for ideas, contacts and so on.
after that, volunteer doing something else, or find some work with residential facilities included, takes a lot of the headache out of it, as rent is the biggest money eater there is.
check in alaska, or rural states, perfect for harvest time. also try canada if they'll let you in. tons of wilderness and rural jobs there that pay well, lumber, mines etc.
start afresh if everything you've been doing has been retardifying. stop treating life as one continuous path of win or lose, and just try new stuff.
the moment you start, when you make that decision, all the stress disappears. it might not be easy thereafter, but it will be an adventure, and you'll be the one making decisions, not a bunch of faggots in offices you'll never meet.
