Just checked some pics and it looked so cool before its renovation in the 50s. Too bad it got torn down in 2008(?). Always sad when they demolish such historic buildings. i think capitol hill includes all the other government buildings and a host of musea. maybe even the pentagon? the golden gate bridge is 'big' only in media that are already about San Fransisco, like Star Trek but most non-Americans would probably consider Route 66 or Vegas to be more iconic and recognizeable. I'd like live in any rural state that will allow me to get by on some basic hunting and homesteading and maybe the odd scalp for a rainy day fund, all these sites tend to be overrated and full of people.
